Clermont booked their place in the semi-finals of the European Champions Cup with a 37-5 thrashing of Northampton at Stadé Marcel-Michelin on Saturday.
Two tries from Noa Nakaitaci, and further tries from Wesley Fofana and Nick Abendanon completed the rout as Clermont eliminated the reigning Premiership champions with relative ease.
The tie was essentially put to bed in the first 40 minutes as Clermont opened up a 27-0 lead, while Northampton's sole response came via Alex Waller.
