Grant Hattingh will start at No 5 lock for the Vodacom Bulls against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Friday.
Flip van der Merwe moves to No 4 to make way for Hattingh, who fills in for Paul Willemse.
The rest of the team remains the same as last Saturday, with Victor Matfield remaining on the bench.
