Heinrich Brüssow will miss the rest of the Vodacom Super Rugby season after breaking his arm.
The flanker sustained the injury to his forearm in the 14th minute of the match against the Reds in Bloemfontein on Saturday, and underwent surgery on Sunday. He is set to miss the next three months, effectively ending his Super Rugby involvement.
In more bad news for the Cheetahs, fullback Coenie van Wyk is likely to be ruled out for around four weeks after suffering an ankle injury, while wing Raymond Rhule will miss up to three weeks with a hamstring strain.
