The Springboks are set to face France in one of their end-of-year Tests in 2017.
The French rugby federation confirmed this week that they will play the All Blacks, Boks and Japan on consecutive weekends in November.
The Boks last faced Les Bleus in 2013, when they emerged as 19-10 winners in Paris, and will also host them in a three-match series in June this year.
In other end-of-year fixtures, the Boks will play Ireland and Italy, two teams that they suffered defeats against in 2016.
