The Springboks will play an additional Test on their 2014 end-of-year tour.
That fixture, against Wales in Cardiff on 29 November, will be preceded by matches against Ireland, England and Italy.
The Boks are scheduled to play 14 matches this year, of which 13 are Tests. The other, against a World XV on 7 June in Cape Town, is to be confirmed.
Saru CEO Jurie Roux said the Wales and World XV fixtures had been added to the Boks' programme to source additional income for World Cup preparations and provide extra time in camp for the squad.
