One of Springbok rugby’s all-time greats reckons it’s time that record Test centurion and Wales legend Alun Wyn Jones retires.
Former Bok loosehead Tendai Mtawarira, who established himself as an international force in the 2009 British & Irish Lions series against Jones and Co, hung up his boots as the 17th most capped international forward of all time (117) and the fifth most-capped prop of all time.
Jones is the sport’s most Test-capped player with 154 appearances for Wales, as well as 12 outings for the B&I Lions, but ‘Beast’ suggested on social media that the 37-year-old Welshman is getting too long in the tooth after looking off the pace in a crushing defeat to the All Blacks in Cardiff.

Alun Wyn Jones about time to retire…a good dancer knows when to leave the dance floor…I am sure there is a young Welsh lock waiting for his turn in that jersey ??.
