Two of the most decorated Springboks have been included in a list of the best players that Eddie Jones has coached during his 24-year coaching career.
In a five-man list compiled by Ruck.co.uk, Victor Matfield and Bryan Habana were named among Jones’ shortlist. The two Test centurions played under Jones who served as an assistant to Jake White when the Springboks won the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

Also included on the list is 111-capped Wallabies flanker George Smith, England and British & Irish Lions lock Maro Itoje and former Wallabies captain George Gregan.
“If I had to pick out three players who improved consistently throughout their Test careers, the first name would be easy. George Smith went on to become a world-class player,” Jones said.
