The Blitzboks started the USA Sevens in style, defeating Wales and Canada in their first two matches of day one without conceding a point.

Following the 43-0 win over Wales in the Blitzboks' opening game, South Africa maintained a clean sheet by defeating Canada 29-0.
Seabelo Senatla opened the scoring with his fourth try of the tournament and Branco du Preez once again found himself on the scorers' sheet, chipping over the Canadian defence and regathering to dot down under the posts.
Captain Kyle Brown, Justin Geduld and Stephan Dippenaar all added tries in the second half, easily securing the game for the Blitzboks.

Speedy scrumhalf Du Preez scored two impressive length-of-the-field tries to help South Africa to a 19-0 lead at half-time.
Geduld then scored two tries, and Senatla added another two to his first-half touchdown.
