Scrumhalf Ben Youngs will start for England against the Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday.
Coach Eddie Jones has made some interesting selections ahead of a game that will double as a warm-up for the three-Test series against the Springboks.
Youngs has recovered from an injury that sidelined him since March. He will start alongside George Ford – who will co-captain the team along with Chris Robshaw.
Elliot Daly will start the game at fullback, with regular No 15 Mike Brown moving to the wing. There are four uncapped players in the starting XV in centre Henry Trinder, hooker Jack Singleton, lock Elliott Stooke and No 8 Zach Mercer.
Flyhalf Danny Cipriani has been named on the bench.
