#BackTheBucks with Takealot and Samsung

TV – Takealot
Published on September 11, 2019

South Africa’s leading ecommerce company takealot.com has partnered with Samsung to #backthebucks to bring the World Cup trophy home!

To reward ‘Bok fans, Takealot is running an exciting promotion: If you buy a selected Samsung TV and the boys in green and gold win the World Cup, you receive your money back in full!

The promotion runs from now until the World Cup kicks off on 20 September, or until the limited stock runs out, with Ts and Cs applying. Takealot is a proudly South African company and wanted to find a tangible way to get involved by delighting shoppers should the ‘Boks triumph. The #backthebucks promotion is a way to support the ‘Boks and rally even more ‘gees’ around an extraordinary tournament.

The promotion applies to the following Samsung TVs:
49” Curved Smart UHD TV – R7,499
50” Smart UHD TV – R8,199
55” Smart QLED TV – R14,999

All boast exceptional screens to bring the action live to ‘Bok supporters’ living rooms as an immersive experience.

How does it work?

1. Place and pay for an order of any of the Samsung TVs listed above between the 6th and 20th of September 2019.
2. Sit back, try to relax, and support South Africa’s rugby campaign to win the World Cup Final on Saturday, 2 November 2019.
3. If South Africa wins the rugby final on the 2nd of November 2019, takealot.com will automatically credit all eligible participants the full value of the purchasing price of their selected Samsung TV to their Takealot accounts withing 10 days.
Important:

a). This promotion only applies to selected Samsung TVs (as listed above).
b). The selected Samsung TVs will be available for purchase on takealot.com on a first-come, first-served basis and while promotional stocks last or until 20 September 2019, whichever comes first.
c). A promotion-specific returns policy applies to the selected Samsung TVs and the standard 30-day Takealot Returns Policy does not apply to them.
d). Samsung TVs bought as part of this promotion may only be returned within 7 days after taking delivery. Thereafter the products may only be returned if they are faulty or defective, in which case the standard Takealot Returns Policy will apply.
*By participating in this promotion, you agree to all the promotional rules as set out in the full terms and conditions which can be found here.

For supporters looking to upgrade their big match viewing experience, online shopping is a convenient alternative to heading to the mall. Shop on the go or from the couch, 24/7 from a huge range of products and have your order delivered to your home or office.

Shoppers can also collect their orders at a time that is convenient to them from 30 Takealot Pickup Points nationwide. Ideal for shoppers who are on the road a lot during the day or those who don’t have a day-time delivery address.
