SARugbymag.co.za readers had their say and voted Kurt-Lee Arendse as the standout Springbok on Saturday in a losing effort against Wales.

In a poll run after the final whistle, 24% decided that the right wing had the most telling influence for the men in green and gold, ahead of 99-Test-capped Eben Etzebeth (17%) and stand-in skipper Handre Pollard (12%).

Arendse, who made his Test debut after an impressive Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign for the Vodacom Bulls at fullback, put in an heroic defensive shift for 80 minutes in Bloemfontein as Wales stunned the world champions for a first win in SA.
