Michael Dowsett will start at scrumhalf for the Brumbies against the Rebels in Canberra on Saturday.
Dowsett comes in for Nic White, who drops to the bench.
Injuries to Scott Sio, Tevita Kuridrani, Matt Toomua and James Dargaville have forced coach Steven Larkham to make several other changes to the team that lost 16-14 to the Blues in Auckland.
