Wallabies scrumhalf Will Genia will join Stade Français after the World Cup on a three-year deal.
Genia, who is playing in his ninth season for the Reds, was initially linked with a move to English club Bath where he had already signed a pre-contract.
However, Stade president Thomas Savare has now come out and confirmed that they have landed the scrumhalf's signature for the next three years.
'We can confirm Will Genia will be part of our squad after the World Cup. He's a great recruit and will add to the squad in an important position,' said Savare. 'It wasn't easy because he had a pre-contract with another club, but we talked to Bath and found a solution that makes everyone happy.'
The 27-year-old made his debut for the Wallabies against the All Blacks in 2009 and went on to play in 58 Tests. In 2011, he won the Vodacom Super Rugby title with the Reds, before clinching the Tri-Nations with the Wallabies that same year.
