Kings coach Deon Davids wants Scarra Ntubeni to join the Eastern Cape franchise.
Davids told Netwerk24 that he had already spoken to the 27-year-old about a possible move.
‘We have had a good conversation. Scarra comes from the area and I think he will be a great asset for us.
‘He has suffered a lot of injuries recently and it might be good for his confidence to play for us in the Pro14.’
Ntubeni is currently Western Province and the Stormers’ second-choice hooker, behind Bongi Mbonambi. While Schalk Brits was set to join the Cape franchise, he now looks more likely to play for the Bulls in Super Rugby next year.
