Marais at 10 for Cheetahs

Niel Marais will replace Sias Ebersohn at flyhalf in the only change to the Free State Cheetahs’ starting lineup for Saturday’s semi-final against the Golden Lions.

Ebersohn had a difficult day out against the Sharks last weekend, missing a number of kicks at goal, and he now makes way for Marais.

The only other changes to the Cheetahs’ squad come on the bench, where Torsten van Jaarsveld is back after doing duty for Namibia in the World Cup, to replace Neil Rautenbach.

Maks van Dyk has been declared fit and takes the place of Teunis Nieuwoudt, while AJ Coertzen comes in as the final reserve.
