Marco Wentzel returns to the Sharks' starting XV and resumes the captaincy for Saturday's clash against Griquas in Kimberley.
In the only team change, Wentzel comes back in at No 5, with Etienne Oosthuizen shifting to flank and Christiaan de Bruin dropping to the bench.
The Sharks are currently fifth on the Currie Cup log and require a victory to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the play-offs.
