Playmaker Rosco Speckman will return to the Blitzboks' squad for next weekend's Paris Sevens.
The Blitzboks hold a commanding 25-point lead over second-placed Fiji, with the team now set to be boosted by the return of Speckman, who missed the tournaments in Hong Kong and Singapore due to a hamstring injury sustained in Vancouver.
It will also be a memorable first visit to Paris for Dewald Human, who will debut for South Africa in the penultimate tournament of the World Rugby Sevens Series.
Speckman and Human come in for Stedman Gans and Zain Davids respectively from the team that played in Singapore last month. Gans and Davids have been named in the Junior Boks team that will travel to Georgia to play in the World Rugby U20 World Championship.
The Blitzboks will face Scotland, Japan and Canada in Pool A.
Blitzboks squad for Paris: Chris Dry, Philip Snyman, Dylan Sage, Ryan Oosthuizen, Werner Kok, Siviwe Soyizwapi, Branco du Preez, Tim Agaba, Dewald Human, Cecil Afrika, Rosko Specman, Ruhan Nel, Sandile Ncgobo (travelling reserve).
