Cobus Wiese will earn his first Super Rugby start as one of eight changes to the Stormers team for Saturday's game against the Cheetahs at Newlands.
The 19-year-old Junior Bok flank, who made his debut off the bench last week, moves into the run-on XV in place of the injured Rynhardt Elstadt.
Bok lock pairing Eben Etzebeth and Pieter-Steph du Toit take up position in the second row after they were rested last weekend, and Frans Malherbe is back at tighthead prop.
Meanwhile, the Stormers backline has been boosted with the inclusion of fullback SP Marais, wing Cheslin Kolbe and centre Dan du Plessis. The trio replace Bjorn Basson, the injured Seabelo Senatla and Dan Kriel. Dillyn Leyds, who played at No 15 against the Sunwolves, moves back to left wing.
The last change sees Jano Vermaak slot straight back into the starting team after recovering from an injury, with Dewaldt Duvenhage relegated to the bench.
