Scott Williams is the latest Welsh player to be ruled out of the tour to South Africa next month through injury.
The centre injured his shoulder when making a tackle on Brian O'Driscoll during the Six Nations.
Initially it had been hoped that Williams would return in time for the two-Test series against the Springboks in Durban and Nelspruit. But he is not quite up to speed and instead will focus on improving his fitness ahead of next season, when he will stay with the Scarlets after signing a new deal.
The growing injury list for Wales ahead of the tour is turning into a disaster, given that Leigh Halfpenny, Sam Warburton and Justin Tipuric are all out with Rhys Priestland a major doubt, along with Richard Hibbard.
