Oupa Mohoje will not play again for the Cheetahs until January next year after the loose forward was suspended for three weeks.
Mohoje was cited for foul play in a Challenge Cup win for the Cheetahs against Pau after his hit on outside centre Yvan Reilhac.
He has been banned under Law 9.13 stating a player must not tackle an opponent dangerously, following an independent disciplinary hearing on Thursday.

The 32-year-old Springbok will miss the Cheetahs’ clash with Scarlets in Parma on Saturday, and likely the trip to Wales on 13 January 2023.
Mohoje is set to return on 16 January, but if he agrees to participating in World Rugby’s coaching intervention class, he will be free to play from 9 January.
