Eddie Jones’ role as England head coach is under serious threat amid speculation about the departures of senior backroom staff, according to reports.
According to London’s Daily Mail, RFU senior performance executive Conor O’Shea is privately canvassing England players for feedback after a mixed year of results.

England won five out of 12 Test matches in 2022, finished third overall in the Six Nations and were booed off the park after losing their final Test of the year to the Springboks.
Jones was set to meet the RFU for a formal review on 9 December, but that could reportedly be brought forward after a media function originally scheduled for 5 December was postponed.

Amid the growing uncertainty around Jones, several backroom staff members are set to resign. This includes team doctor Dr Richard Tingay, training coordinator and former Great Britain hockey coach Danny Kerry and defence coach Anthony Seibold, who has already returned to Australia.
