Prop Thomas du Toit is among a group of South Africa A players who will join the Springbok squad ahead of their Test against England at Twickenham.
The others are loose forward Marco van Staden, prop Ntuthuko Mchunu and scrumhalf Grant Williams.
Cheslin Kolbe (Toulon), Andre Esterhuizen (Harlequins), Cobus Reinach (Montpellier), Jasper Wiese (Leicester Tigers), Vincent Koch (Stade Français) and Trevor Nyakane (Racing 92) have all returned to their clubs as the fixture falls outside of World Rugby’s Test window.
According to Rapport newspaper, Koch and Nyakane’s departure could see Du Toit, who captained SA A against Munster and the Bristol Bears, come into the Bok match 23, while Van Staden could also play a part in the absence of Wiese.
The Springboks’ Japan-based players are available for Saturday’s match.
