Grant Williams is looking forward to partnering up with Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu for the first time when the South Africa ‘A’ side takes on Bristol on Thursday night.
The SA ‘A’ side that will tackle the Premiership outfit will feature an exciting new starting halfback pair of two bright prospects in Williams and Feinberg-Mngomezulu.

Williams made an excellent impact off the bench in last week’s game against Munster, while Thursday night will be Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s first taste of action at this level after training with the Springboks.
“It will be the first time Sacha and I will play together, so we had our first training session on Monday,” said the 26-year-old William, who made his Springbok debut against Wales in July.

“It’s an exciting opportunity and it will be important to play the conditions well and to go out there and do our best. We are a group of guys from different provincial unions that are buying into the same system, and there is a fantastic vibe among the players.
“On a personal note, I am really looking forward to going out there and making the most of the chance to play.”
STICK: Sacha, Williams can prove Bok case
Despite the fact that Bristol currently sits second-from-bottom on the Premiership table, Williams is on guard against a team that finished top of the log in the 2020-21 season and boasts the likes of Charles Piutau, Steven Luatua and Semi Radradra in their ranks.
“Bristol play a really good running game. They really like to run the ball in their own 22 and they play an exciting brand of rugby in general.
“The important aspects for us will be to control the territory game and use the opportunities we create.”
