New Zealander Scott Robertson coached a Barbarians side featuring two Springboks to a nail-biting victory over the All Blacks XV in London on Sunday.
Dillyn Leyds started at fullback, while fellow Bok Raymond Rhule featured off the bench, as the BaaBaas triumphed 35-31 in a 10-try thriller at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, thanks mainly to the superior goal-kicking of French flyhalf Antoine Hastoy.
Englishmen Zach Mercer and Joe Marchant along with Fijian lock Lekima Tagitagivalu scored converted first-half tries to give the BaaBaas a 21-17 lead at the break.
The second half ended up being deadlocked at 14-14 as French wing Teddy Thomas and Welsh scrumhalf Rhys Webb scored a try each in between scores from Shaun Stevenson and Bailyn Sullivan for the All Blacks XV.
