Elton Jantjies’ wife Iva Ristic has urged Rassie Erasmus to take action against Springbok team dietician Zeenat Simjee.
Jantjies recently admitted to having an affair with Simjee after both initially denied the allegations.
The two spent the night in two guesthouses in Mbombela before the Springboks’ match against the All Blacks in August. Jantjies left without paying his bill of R26,000 for accommodation, flowers and expensive champagne.
When the relationship came to light, the flyhalf was sent home from Buenos Aires before the Springboks’ Rugby Championship match against Argentina in September and was not selected for their end-of-year tour.

According to Rapport, Ristic believes it’s unfair that Simjee is currently touring with the Boks while her husband is sidelined.
Ristic had a long discussion about the affair with Erasmus, SA’s director of rugby, and sent him a screenshot of text messages between Simjee and Jantjies.
Ristic claims her husband and Simjee were fooling around during Bok tours and not just when the team was off.
She showed Rapport a reservation for a romantic meal on a boat in Sydney Harbour that Simjee allegedly made for her and Jantjies for the Thursday before the Boks’ Test against Australia on 3 September. The meal cost A$236 (R2,700). Simjee emailed Jantjies details of the reservation, saying, “Please remember.”
Ristic, who also has evidence of hotel and flight bookings for the two, claimed Rassie was “shocked” by the messages and said he would hand them over to SA Rugby’s HR department.

From text messages between the two, it also appears that Simjee wanted Jantjies to divorce his wife.
In an Instagram message, Simjee tells Jantjies that even one of his relatives wants him to divorce Ristic, who is described as a “horrible woman”.
In another message, Simjee asks Jantjies why he is still uploading photos of Iva on Instagram.
“Baby what did I post?” Jantjies responds.
