Readers: NZ to edge Boks in Europe

SARugbymag.co.za readers had their say, and the All Blacks are almost twice as likely as the Springboks to go undefeated when the southern-hemisphere giants travel to do battle in Europe.

The All Blacks might have a 56% win rate in 2022, but 63% of the vote says they’ll fare best in November.

New Zealand, currently ranked fifth in world rugby, will start their travels with the Lipovitan-D Challenge Cup against Japan, currently ranked 10th in the world, face seventh-ranked Wales and sixth-ranked Scotland after, before playing their final game against England, currently ranked fifth.

The Boks with a 67% win record in 2022, and ranked third in world rugby, claimed 35% of the vote, but they arguably face tougher competition in the form of France, ranked first in the world, and Ireland, ranked second. The Boks will also play England and Italy (ranked 14th).

Argentina and Australia were given little chance to go unbeaten during the Autumn Internationals, with Los Pumas receiving just over 1% of the vote and the Wallabies less than 0.5%.
