The DHL Stormers have deployed a battle-hardened, all-Springbok front row in Cardiff for the Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash in the Welsh capital on Saturday.
After returning from the bench in last week’s draw against Ospreys in Swansea, loosehead prop Steven Kitshoff and hooker Joseph Dweba will both start in Saturday’s final tour match in Cardiff.
The duo will be reunited with Springbok teammate Frans Malherbe who, fully recovered from the illness that kept him out last week, is set to become the most-capped player in Stormers history when he jogs out in his 124th appearance on Saturday.
Completing a powerful tight five, Springbok lock Marvin Orie forms the second row partnership with Adre Smith.
Evan Roos will sit out the match, with Ernst van Rhyn named to captain the team from a back row with Hacjivah Dayimani at No 8 and openside Nama Xaba chasing the ball.
There is only one change to the backline, as scrumhalf Godlen Masimla gets a chance to impress in the starting lineup after coming off the bench in all of his appearances this season.
