• Edinburgh have lost their last two URC fixtures on tour in South Africa since beating Dragons RFC at DAM Health Stadium on the opening weekend.

• The Scotsmen have lost just once at their new home venue in the Championship: 10-16 to Ulster at the end of April.

• Edinburgh have lost their last four fixtures against SA opponents since beating the Cell C Sharks in Durban in March.
