Cecil Afrika dealt a knockout blow to Seabelo Senatla in the final round of this series to earn the mantle of SA’s greatest Blitzbok.
After winning 84% of the vote in the first round to beat Mzwandile Stick, Branco du Preez set his sights on Fabian Juries, who he dispatched with ease by claiming 64% of the vote in the second round.

But Du Preez would go no further as he met Cecil Afrika in the third round, his hot-streak extinguished in a flash as Afrika raced to a favourable 91% of the vote and the most comprehensive victory of the series.
The final round saw Stormers speedster Seabelo Senatla enter the fray, but the try-scoring machine’s blistering pace would not be enough to reel in the high-flying Afrika.
Although it was the most tightly-contested round of the series, Afrika brushed Senatla aside with plenty of gas left in the tank, securing 63% of the vote.
