South Africa will meet England in the Cup quarter-finals of the Hong Kong Sevens.
South Africa went down 10-7 to Australia in their third and final Pool C match on Saturday. This result will see them facing England in Sunday's quarter-final.
Earlier on day two of the competition, South Africa beat Spain 22-14.
The Blitzboks began their Hong Kong campaign on Friday with a convincing 31-7 win against France.
