Monument scored a try in the last minute to beat rivals Garsfontein in the Noordvaal Cup final, while there were wins for Rondebosch and Oakdale in the closing weekend of schools derby action on Saturday.
The White Bulls claimed a 30-28 victory over Garsfontien on home soil in Krugersdorp to win the Noordvaal Cup title for the 10th time in their history.
The win came courtesy of a late try from substitute hooker Stephan Uys, who powered over from a rolling maul with time up on the clock.
In the final Premier Interschools match of the year, Oakdale Landbou outplayed rivals Boland Landbou to win 26-17, their first victory in the match since 2017.
Staying in the Cape, Rondebosch claimed southern suburbs bragging rights after winning the 200th derby against Bishops, powering to a 43-26 win. The other southern suburbs derby saw Wynberg beat SACS 16-5.
The remaining schools action took place in the Eastern Cape, where Framesby were made to work hard to beat Nico Malan 16-13, having won the previous fixture between the two schools 94-7.
