Flyhalf Noah Lolesio is being lined up for a recall to the Wallabies starting lineup that runs at the Springboks in Adelaide on Saturday.
According to forwards coach Dan McKellar, the 22-year-old “gets his chance this week” when the teams square up in the Rugby Championship.
The Wallabies are set to announce their starting lineup on Thursday, with the major question over who will be wearing the No 10 jersey.

Quade Cooper started in the campaign opener against Argentina, but suffered a season-ending injury, while James O’Connor has been dropped due to poor form.
Veteran playmakers Bernard Foley and Kurtley Beale have been called up to the squad, but it appears that the Wallabies will instead be backing the youth option in Lolesio.
The Brumbies flyhalf debuted against the All Blacks in Sydney in 2020 and has since played a total of 12 Test matches.
Lolesio started all three Tests of the home series against England, but appeared to have fallen behind Cooper and O’Connor in the pecking order in the Rugby Championship squad.
“He’s trained well while he has been in the side,” McKellar told Australian media on Wednesday. He was close to playing in Argentina. But that’s a position that hasn’t been nailed yet by an individual or owned.

“He gets his chance this week. He’s got Whitey [scrumhalf Nic White] on his inside who he knows very well – they’ve got a very good combination, have played a lot of footy together, so that should be really good cohesion.
“Now he’s just got to go out there and do his job within our plan.”
