34-year-old wing Juan Imhoff has been recalled in one of four changes to Argentina’s starting lineup for the second Test against Australia in San Juan on Saturday.
On the back of a disappointing defeat by the Wallabies in the first round of the Rugby Championship, Argentina coach Michael Cheika resisted the urge to make wholesale changes to the match-day 23.
Most of the alterations come in the backline, where experienced wing Imhoff will earn his 38th Test cap, replacing Santiago Cordero in the starting lineup, prompting Emiliano Boffelli to switch to the right wing.
Centre Matias Moroni and scrumhalf Gonzalo Bertranou come in for Matias Orlando and Tomas Cubelli, respectively.
In the only change to the dominant Argentina pack of the first round, Thomas Gallo rotates into the starting lineup with Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro dropping to the bench.
