Beauden Barrett seems “good to go” despite doubts over the All Blacks playmaker passing a fitness test to face the Springboks when the rivals clash at Ellis Park on Saturday.
It appeared likely that Barrett would miss the Rugby Championship Test in Johannesburg after hurting his neck following a mid-air contest with Kurt-Lee Arendse in the All Blacks defeat at Mbombela Stadium.
Replacement flyhalf Richie Mo’unga could still get his first Test start of the year, but two-time World Rugby Player of the Year Barrett looks set to be named in the match-day 23 when Ian Foster announces the New Zealand team on Thursday.
