Sharks centre Paul Jordaan has been ruled out of action for a month with a knee injury.
The Durban side confirmed the news on Tuesday via Twitter. Jordaan had a scope to his knee and wil miss at least four games.
Wing Odwa Ndugane will also miss the match against the Reds. Ndungane's father recently passed away, and he will be afforded some compassionate leave.
Meanwhile, JP Pietersen has returned from a stint in Japan. Pietersen is primarily a winger, but can also offer a strong option at No 13.
