The two flyhalves will have decisive roles to play in this Saturday's big game between the Sharks and Reds, writes JON CARDINELLI.

Pat Lambie missed last week's clash against the Lions due to illness, and was ably replaced by Frans Steyn at No 10. However, prior to that, Lambie had performed well in that flyhalf position and kicked some important goals for the Sharks.

Lambie is starting to stand a lot flatter on attack and ask questions of the opposition defence, while his tactical kicking has also shown a marked improvement. Providing he recovers in time for this Saturday's match, he will have an important role to play, as will his opposite number Quade Cooper.

The Reds and Wallabies No 10 needs no introduction as far as attacking play is concerned, and his recent form suggests he will cause the Sharks some problems.

Cooper kicked well in the big win over the Cheetahs last week, and will be looking to carry that form through to what should be a tight encounter at Kings Park. The Reds will need their forwards to fire if they're to outmuscle a formidable Sharks pack, and if Cooper and halfback partner Will Genia receive that platform, they will be doubly dangerous.
