New Zealand will have all three Barrett brothers available for the second Test against Ireland after flank Scott escaped a citing for dangerous play in the series opener in Auckland.
Barrett appeared to make dangerous contact with opposite number Peter O’Mahony at a breakdown in the 74th minute of the All Blacks’ 42-19 win overe Ireland on Saturday.

However, while there were calls for Barrett to face disciplinary action for the attempted clean-out, the 1am deadline for the citing commissioner to identify any incidents that met the red-card threshold passed, with no further action being taken on the loose forward.
English referee Karl Dickson penalised the incident, but kept his cards in his pocket, despite O’Mahony’s protests after the Irish forward reeled backwards and held his head and neck after getting back to his feet.
Barrett has a history of foul play as it has not been three months since he was red-carded for a dangerous tackle while playing in Super Rugby Pacific for the Crusaders against the Blues in Christchurch.
