The Vodacom Bulls will lose the services of lock Sintu Manjezi to Scottish Vodacom United Rugby Championship side Glasgow Warriors at the end of the season.
Glasgow on Wednesday officially confirmed that Manjezi will be moving to Scotland next season, after putting pen to paper on a contract with Danny Wilson’s team.
Speaking following signing with the Warriors, Manjezi told glasgowwarriors.org: “I’m looking forward to playing for Glasgow and taking on a new challenge.
“The opportunity of experiencing a new club outside of South Africa was one I couldn’t turn down.
“I’ve played with Kyle Steyn previously and he speaks really highly of the club’s culture, the hard work that the players put in and its ambitions.
“I think my skillset will compliment Glasgow’s style of play – I like to play with ball in hand and carry hard.
“I can’t wait to get up to Glasgow and put in the hard yards every single day and earn the right to wear the jersey.”

The 27-year-old helped the Bulls win the Currie Cup in early 2021, but picked up a long-term knee injury in the January final against the Sharks, which has curtailed his development under Jake White.
Having joined the Bulls from the Cheetahs in 2020, Manjezi will now become the latest South African player to continue his career overseas.
The Bulls are reportedly also set to lose Walt Steenkamp when his contract expires at the end of October, but the Pretoria side did recently announce the signing of 24-year-old former Lions and Junior Springbok lock Ruan Vermaak.
