Veteran flyhalf Lionel Cronje will return to the Sharks on a two-year deal, while versatile scrumhalf Grant Williams has re-signed until 2024.
Cronje, who has played for the Stormers, Western Province, Vodacom Bulls, Lions and the Southern Kings, featured for the Sharks on loan in 2021.
The 32-year-old returns to the Shark Tank from Japanese side Toyota Verblitz, having also spent two seasons in Durban from 2014 to 2015, after a stint with the Brumbies.

Able to cover at wing, the 25-year-old Williams was called up to the Springbok squad in 2021 as an injury replacement for fellow Sharks scrumhalf, Jaden Hendrikse.
The Sharks have also extended the services of locks Reniel Hugo and Emile van Heerden, along with fullback Anthony Volmink and prop Dian Bleuler, to go with several big-name signings for next season.
