Habana, who scored a record 67 tries in 124 Tests for the Boks, won the 2007 World Cup with Botha as well as multiple trophies at the Vodacom Bulls and Toulon, so it was rare they squared off in a match.

“I was lucky to play with Bakkies for South Africa and in Toulon. However, before that he’d caught me a few times and it was like being hit by a bus. A player who carried his team on and off the field,” the 38-year-old said.
