After leaving Makazole Mapimpi in his dust, Bryan Habana now faces the next rapid challenger for the title of the fastest Springbok over 50 metres.
Habana won 84% of the vote against Mapimpi in last week’s dash. Now he faces Tonderai Chavhanga, whose pace and acceleration were just as legendary, boasting a personal best of 10.27 seconds over 100m.

Injuries plagued Chavhanga for much of his career but he scored 14 tries for the Stormers, routinely skinning some of the best Kiwi speedsters in Super Rugby.
‘The Flying Zimbabwean’ also still holds the SA record for the most number of Test tries in one game, the four-capped flyer scoring six on debut in the Boks’ 134-3 demolition of Uruguay in 2005.
