Former England and Wasps wing Christian Wade could make a rugby union comeback after the end to his American football dream.
The 30-year-old was released by the Buffalo Bills, and has already been linked with a move to Leicester Tigers in England.
He retired from rugby in 2018, having played just one Test and one game for the British & Irish Lions, to pursue a career in the NFL after he was repeatedly overlooked by England coach Eddie Jones.

At the time, he was the third-highest try-scorer (82) in the history of the English Premiership – Wade is now fourth, and currently 13 behind new record-holder Chris Ashton.
Second on the list and former teammate Tom Varndell says Wade has previously been approached about a return to the sport.
“Christian was in unbelievable form when he stepped away from rugby union,” Varndell, now a player agent, told the Coventry Telegraph.
“Obviously, there are rumours that are circulating. I am very close to Chris anyway, with everything that’s going on with the NFL at the moment and him being released by the Bills.
“Watch this space, because you just never know, he might pop back up and I might end up being third place in a couple of years’ time.”
