Free State Cheetahs utility back Clayton Blommetjies has reportedly signed a deal to join the Stormers at the end of the year.
According to Rapport, the 31-year-old will link up with the Capetonians before the start of the 2022-23 Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign.
Blommetjies has played for the Cheetahs in the PRO14, represented the Vodacom Bulls, and had stints with Scarlets and Leicester Tigers in the UK.
His arrival in the Cape will offset the departure of in-form Warrick Gelant, who is widely understood to be heading to France.
The Stormers will reportedly lose Gelant to Racing 92 at the end of the current season in June.
SARugbymag.co.za understands that the Parisian club offered him a salary in the region of €450,000 (R7.7 million) per season.
