Gareth Anscombe is one of eight Welsh internationals who have returned to the Ospreys starting XV for the Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash against the Stormers on Saturday in Cape Town.
Dewi Lake, Gareth Thomas, Tomas Francis, Adam Beard, Jac Morgan, Gareth Anscombe, Owen Watkin and Alex Cuthbert will bolster Tony Booth’s run-on side after Friday’s 45-15 thumping to the Lions in Johannesburg.
Rhys Webb retains the captaincy, with Michael Collins partnering Watkin in midfield, while Keelan Giles and Dan Evans complete the back three alongside Cuthbert. Bradley Davies, Dan Lydiate and Morgan Morris round out the starting pack.
Off the bench, SA-born Tom Botha and Sam Parry provide the cover up front, alongside Nicky Smith, who is set for his 150th Ospreys appearance if he features. Rhys Davies, Ethan Roots, Harri Deaves, Reuben Morgan-Williams and Max Nagy complete the matchday 23.
