South Africa is famed for producing giants with an appetite for big collisions and this sometimes overshadows their incredible skills. Two Springboks go head-to-head in this poll to determine who floated the most impressive try assist.

The Springboks took on Wales in the first of the 2015 World Cup quarter-finals. With Wales leading 19-18 in the second half and poised for what would be only their third victory over the Springboks in 109 years, No 8 Duane Vermeulen broke away blindside from a scrum near the Welsh 22-metre line and threw an audacious pass behind his back to scrumhalf Fourie du Preez, who sprinted to the corner to touch down for what would be the winning try.

In the 101st clash between the Springboks and All Blacks, held in Gold Coast in Australia, South Africa came from behind to claim a memorable 31-29 victory through a penalty after the full-time hooter. The Springboks got off to an electric start in the first half, as inside centre Damian de Allende scored the opening try in the fifth minute of the match. After forcing the All Blacks to fumble the ball inside their own 22, Lukhanyo Am pounced and produced a spectacular behind-the-back pass that led to a try for De Allende.
