Kurt-Lee Arendse scored a brace of tries to help the Vodacom Bulls claim a comfortable bonus-point victory over Dragons in Pretoria on Saturday.
Up against the team currently sitting second from bottom on the log, the Bulls were expected to continue their run of tryfest wins after thumping Scarlets last weekend.
While Dragons did well to keep fighting and score three tries at Loftus Versfeld, it was more or less one-way traffic as the Bulls strode to a 55-20 win, scoring eight tries in the process.
Arendse continued his excellent form of late at fullback, scoring a try in each half. Outside centre Lionel Mapoe also scored a brace.

The hosts had the bonus point wrapped up in the 37th minute and took a 31-8 lead into the break. Dragons did hit back with tries either side of half time, but that did little to disrupt the Bulls’ momentum.
Jake White’s team has now jumped over the Sharks into seventh place on the log – the Durban side lost to Edinburgh earlier on Saturday – and cut the gap on the top four to six points.
The Bulls next take on second-placed Ulster in a match that marks the return to Loftus of former Bulls captain Duane Vermeulen.
