The likes of Rupeni Caucaunibuca and Jonah Lomu have been included in an all-time Pasifika XV named by Super Rugby on Thursday.
In celebration of the Heritage Round of Super Rugby Pacific taking place this weekend, a team comprising the best Pacific Island players to play in the tournament was named.
Joining Caucaunibuca and Lomu in the back three is Mils Muliaina, who represented the Blues and Chiefs during his career.
Ma’a Nonu and Tana Umaga form a powerful midfield combination, while former Brumbies and current Moana flyhalf Christian Leali’ifano and former Blues and Hurricanes player Ofisa Tonu’u are the halfbacks.
The late Jerry Collins has been left out of the back row. Instead, No 8 Toutai Kefu, Sir Michael Jones and George Smith are all included.
Radike Samo and Inoke Afeaki are the locks, while the front row consists of tighthead Sekope Kepu, hooker Kevin Mealamu and loosehead prop Olo Brown.
