The Sharks will look to end the Free State Cheetahs’ unbeaten run in the Currie Cup when the front-runners do battle at Kings Park on Wednesday.
The 5-0 Cheetahs are the only team in the competition with a perfect record, having consolidated their top spot in the standings with a 24-17 win over Western Province last week.
The Sharks are looking to bounce back from a 35-21 reverse against the Vodacom Bulls, who travel across the Jukskei for a derby date with the Lions at Ellis Park, the hosts still winless after five matches following their 49-17 loss to Griquas last time out.
Meanwhile, WP will look to get back to winning ways in home comfort at Cape Town Stadium, as the men in blue-and-white stripes are set to host a Pumas outfit coming off a bye.
