Without 19 players due to injuries or international call-ups, Scarlets have named their team to take on the Sharks in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship clash in Durban on Friday night.
The game will be the first south vs north match-up on South African soil in the newly revamped competition.

Scarlets will be without Wales-capped flyhalf Rhys Patchell, who picked up a calf issue in the second half of the victory over Glasgow Warriors.
Patchell joined an extended injury list of 12 players, which also includes Wales fullback Leigh Halfpenny, hooker Ken Owens and Argentina flank Tomas Lezana.
Scarlets have also lost a further seven players to international duty for Wales: Johnny McNicholl, Liam Williams, Jonathan Davies, Wyn Jones, Ryan Elias, Kieran Hardy and Gareth Davies.
Still, Scarlets head coach Dwayne Peel has been able to name a starting lineup with five Wales internationals, including centre pair Johnny Williams and Scott Williams, wing Steff Evans and tighthead prop Samson Lee, while flank Blade Thomson is a Scotland international and played against the Sharks in Super Rugby for the Hurricanes.
