Journeyman scrumhalf Louis Schreuder will part ways with the Newcastle Falcons and join Bath at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old, who made his professional debut with Western Province in 2010, played for the Stormers, Southern Kings and Sharks before heading overseas. He also had brief stints in the Top 14 and Japanese Top League.
Bath have confirmed that the one-capped Springbok will join the Premiership outfit ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

“Louis brings extensive, high-level experience in the southern hemisphere, at club and international level, and has proven his value in the Premiership during a successful spell with Newcastle Falcons,” chief executive Tarquin McDonald told the club’s website.
“We are investing resources in the spine of the team, striving to ensure the squad includes at least two, top-quality players in the key positions.”
Schreuder added: “There is a growing sense of excitement around Bath at the moment, and I look forward to making a full contribution in the next few years.”
